Dry Brushing with Acrylic Paints

Updated: Jan 26

1. Start by slapping on a black base coat like you're hiding a bad haircut. Make sure no sneaky white bits are peeking through. Give it a touch-up and let it dry like it's sunbathing in the Bahamas.

2. It's all about those layers, darling! Your brush just needs a smidge of paint, so give it a good wipe on a paper bag like it's a ketchup bottle.

3. Begin with the darker colors first, and use a pounding motion like you're trying to wake up a sleepy pancake.

4. The lighter areas will need some layering love to get the color just right.

5. Make sure each color gets its own special brush, like they're divas at a hair salon.

6. Don't go painting in the crevices! Those dark shadows are like eyeliner for your masterpiece, adding depth and character.

7. Finish up with some fine detailing and touch up any shadowy spots like you're fixing a wonky eyebrow.

Have a blast with it! Create something fabulous for every occasion...
